As a church we have decided to help the Rock County Foster Care by filling duffle bags with needed items for children entering a foster care situation. Many of them will not have much to take with them that they can call their own. This is one way we can show them that we care. These bags will be filled with hygiene items, personal care items (such as a blanket and stuffed animal), toys, and miscellaneous items (such as a photo album or a sketch pad). We also plan on including a small New Testament and a card from us in each bag. We are encouraging families, discovery groups, etc. to put together a bag.
